Yasashi Sunanezumi means "Friendly Gerbils" in japanese and we are private breeders and a rescue organization located in San Antonio, Texas. We DO NOT SHIP OUR GERBILS! This does not mean Out-Of-Country adopting is prohibited, in fact, we encourage it as long as all potential adopters meet standards and will come face to face to pick up their new companions. Yasashi Sunanezumi strives to produce and raise healthy, social rodents who are highly recommended pets for children and adults a like. Our gerbils would make fabulous pets, breeders, or maybe even novice show pets! WE ARE REGISTERED BREEDERS! Our gerbils are fed a premium diet of pellets and dried vegetables as well as fresh vegetables and other treats being offered from time to time. We play with our gerbils regularly on a daily basis and help them with their healthy habits of chewing and digging. 

 

At this time, our breeders and pups have not shown any evident symptoms of allergies to specific foods, beddings, or environments, but THIS DOES NOT GUARANTEE OUR GERBILS WILL BE ALLERGY FREE! We try to document and observe our gerbils as much as possible! If you have adopted from us and your gerbil is experiencing any allergy symptoms, please notify us as we would love to keep updated on all health complications or boosts in our lines! Yasashi Sunanezumi believes in finding the best suitable homes for our gerbils and that all health care and issues are the responsibility of the owners once the gerbils are out of our care.

 

Yasashi Sunanezumi was created in 2014 but the owner has experience breeding gerbils since 2010. Yasashi Suanezumi's first priority are the gerbils, with clients coming right after that! We spend much money, time, and energy into creating Yasashi Sunanezumi and trying to keep making it better and better! We have yet to have complaints about our gerbils! 

 

Aside from Breeding, Yasashi Sunanezumi also takes in gerbils that were abandoned or surrendered as pets and will strive to find those gerbils a suitable home as well. We also take sick, injured, and handicapped gerbils as well from all around the world. These rescued gerbils will not be used in the breeding program as we only use excellent quality breeders who are healthy and happy! Well-nourished parents produce well-nourished pups! Nonetheless, we will try as hard to find these gerbils a suitable home as the pups! IF A CLIENT IS DISATISFIED OR CANNOT KEEP THEIR ADOPTED GERBIL, WE WILL TAKE BACK THE PET WITHIN 90 DAYS FROM ADOPTION! 

 

Yasashi Sunanezumi wants their customers to be satisfied with their new family member and never wants to give their clients a bad companion. IF A CLIENT IS DISATISFIED WITH THEIR PET DUE TO BEHAVIORAL OR HEALTH REASONS WITHIN 60 DAYS FROM ADOPTION, WE WILL SWAP YOU FOR ANOTHER ADOPTABLE GERBIL OF YOUR CHOICE! We cannot offer you a full refund for your gerbil. We will rarely offer you cash back as that cash may have been used to help keep our gerbils healthy and happy! 

 

All of the profit made off of gerbil adoptions will go towards Yasashi Sunanezumi some way. It may help upkeep our website, Gerbil products, promoting adoptions, etc.
